So this is going to become an installment on ABAD, late night with yours truly. Gonna give you all 4 songs… 1 Chill, 1 Turnip, 1 Delicious and 1 Old. Deal with it puds
As far as opening lines go this track by Zea & The Copper Children is top 5. Very smooth song to get you ready for bed time children.
Marshmello is taking the turnip house game by storm. The guy dropped his album “Joytime” a couple days ago and this track is a party starter. If you’re a lonely guy put this song on and 3 Tri Delts will appear at your door. Its like the movie Field of Dreams except this time “if you play it pud will come”. Try it out and let me know if it works
Danny Brown has that indescribable feature that makes him enjoyable to listen to. His voice is one for the ages and this song is a straight up delicious meal for the ears
If you don’t like queen you’re probably a New England Patriots fan. Fat Bottom Girls take me home tonight
I am all about good vibes and feel good music. That’s why I put this playlist together. Enjoy listening to it during the day today before you get ready to go out and party or tomorrow when you’re too hungover to put a smile on your face.
This one if for those who want some new music in their lives. Its not a banger playlist or a party playlist, this one is for the pregame before the pregame. When you get home from class and have that downtime before pregame city in the nighttime. Enjoy peoples
Chances are you’ve heard BØRNS before. The song “Electric Love” was featured in a Hulu commerical and has enjoyed pretty good success. But BØRNS is much bigger and more interesting than some random indie artist that had a catchy song in a commercial. For starters, Garret Borns aka BØRNS lived in a tree house in Hollywood until very recently. “The Emotion” is the first single off of his debut album “Dopamine” and it’s dope. BØRNS’ super unique voice combined with the dreamy guitar make another great song. Definitely keep an eye on him.
Tomorrow is a big day for all you college folk. For my graduated friends tomorrow is Friday and that’s cool too maybe. Tomorrow is a college Friday and that means drinking should occur all day with our tunes to help you keep it going.
Nathaniel Rateliff and the Night Sweats are going to become very popular over the next couple of months and you’ll quickly realize why after listening to one of their first singles, “SOB”. In Boston for a November concert, they’ve already had to switch to a bigger venue because tickets for their first venue sold out so quickly. There are few bands out there that bring so much energy to their music. This song just makes you want to drink bourbon, dance, and sing a long to it. “SOB” is incredibly catchy with a throwback feel. Nathaniel Rateliff and the Night Sweats debut album drops August 21st and I highly recommend listening to it. That way you can brag to your friends about knowing who a band was before they blew up.
By far one of my favorite submissions we have received so far from other music lovers. This one if from a guy named TJMILES and he writes:
Lewis Del Mar are a duo from Rockaway Beach in New York. Their music is a ear-pleasing blend of art-rock and esoteric pop. The duo is more well known for their debut into the underground indie world, ‘Loud(y)’.
Today’s song is their latest release, ‘Memories’. The band has found a way to use an almost discordant bass line to produce a song that I challenge you not to nod your head along with. Hope you enjoy it as much as I did. As a former percussionist, I am very much looking forward to hearing more from Lewis Del Mar.
I think after hearing this beautiful masterpiece we will all be looking forward to hearing more from Lewis Del Mar. This is why we run this site, for tunes like this that need to be shared to the public. They are too good to be kept a secret even though I do really want to keep this one for myself. I hope you enjoy as much as we have with this song.
