Sunday RnR: Green Day – Dookie

I know what you’re thinking. “Jagger, it’s Super Bowl Sunday. I want a playlist to get me hype for sports.” As it turns out, my playlist from last year was too good, so it would take me too long to make another one, so if you’re trying to get hype for the game, check out the Super Bowl Playlist here.

As for today’s RnR, 23 years ago Green Day released their third studio album, Dookie, which was their first record on a major label. The album is often credited to bringing punk rock to the front of mainstream attention in America, and also had five singles, including “Longview”, “Welcome to Paradise”, “Basket Case”, “When I Come Around”, and “She”. This is basically an album full of jams, I don’t have too much to say about this. It’s just good. Enjoy.
