Sunday RnR: Foo Fighters – The Colour and the Shape

19 Years ago, on May 20, 1997, Foo Fighters released The Colour and the Shape in a time when the band’s future was unclear. This album helped cement the band’s place as a main staple of rock and roll music. Popular songs like “Monkey Wrench”, “My Hero”, and “Everlong” all came off this amazing album. Though these were all the radio hits, the album contains so much more in terms of fantastic songs. “Hey, Johnny Park!”, “My Poor Brain”, and “New Way Home”. This album is an absolute jam factory and I highly recommend you do what Sunday RnR was built for on this one; just sit back, relax, and enjoy some good ol’ fashion rock and fucking roll music. You’ll find yourself asking if anything could ever be this good again.
