His debut album Ready to Die paved the way for many New York rappers and their respective debut albums – such as Jay Z’s Reasonable Doubt and Nas’ Illmatic. It’s such a shame that the world lost such a talented artist as a result of the East coast/West coast feud at the young age of 24. Biggie was one of the GOATs.
