Indie Takeover: Some New Some Old

Ophelia – The Lumineers

The Lumineers came out with a new single to promote their sophomore album due to come out in April. I cannot wait to hear this upcoming album… The Lumineers are fucking gold.

Cars – Kendall Street Company

Found these guys last weekend in bed hungover because I am in a frat and we drink. #rushpike. But this is indie city and they brought it to another level with that saxophone. Give them some love on Spotify

Kathleen – Josh Ritter

Listen to that first line… this guy steals hearts everytime this song is streamed. Smoother than Will Smith, lyrically on par with the greats and a great love story.

The Way We Move – Langhorne Slim

Fun fact Langhorne Slim gets his name from Langhorne, PA where he is from. Def a guy to check out if you dig this song. He is unique for sure

I Love The Rain the Most – Joe Purdy

Joe Purdy is one of my personal favorites when it comes to true storytellers in music. His lyrics are powerful and the way he tells a story makes you wanna cry and laugh at the same time. I will post a couple more of his tunes to finish this post off
